Rat Removal NJ

Now is the time that animals will try to enter and nest in your home or business. As the cold temperatures drop even further, rats and other animals will try to find warmth and shelter indoors. If you have a rat infestation and need rat removal in NJ, Alco Pest Control is a NJ pest control company that fully guarantees any removal services that we perform. We provide same day services and special 24 hour emergency services 365 days a year.

Here are some precautions that you can take to keep rats out of your home:

  • Keep any firewood away from the house and stack it at least a foot and a half off of the ground.
  • Keep any food in birdhouses elevated where rats cannot reach them.
  • Make sure that any garbage cans are tightly shut.
  • Do not leave out any food in your yard, including pet food.
  • Make sure to screen off any small openings around your house. Rats can squeeze through very small holes.

If you see droppings inside your home, rats are most likely already in your home, and a professional should be contacted. If you would like any more information on NJ rat removal, contact Alco Pest Control.

  2. One way to remove rats is to trap them using a bucket full of water. Place cardboard ramp leaning it against the bucket. Have its upper half bended and with the peanut butter bait. When rats go for it, their weight causes them to down, thereby drowning them.

  3. If they didn't carry insects and disease, I'd find them to actually be kind of cool. Unfortunately, they do both of those things, besides nesting in the walls, spoiling food, and making incessant noises. So anything that helps get rid of mice and rats is great.
